We spent a great morning at the BFI today where the SAI is running some film-maker case studies for the next couple of months (email us if you are a film-maker and would like to attend). Today it was worshiping at the alter of Aaron Sorkin and his work on The Social Network. The movie titles introduce it as “A David Fincher Film” – um, well – okay.
download the script thesocialnetwork_screenplay – and check this interview from 2012. http://livestre.am/4dLkJ
Sorkin talks about “the difference between a good man and a great man … there are consequences.” Pretty good encapsulation of the struggle within any hero.
In two weeks time it is Ang Lee and James Schamus’ Eat Drink Man Woman.
